Tips & Resources for Volunteers

Thank you for choosing to take an active interest in our city's educational programs by volunteering your time with Westfield Public Schools. There are approximately 6800 students in the 11 schools— 6 elementary schools (five K—5 and one K-3) 2 middle schools (grades  6-8), 2 high schools (grades 9—12), and an Early childhood Center. The VIPS program recruits volunteers to support Westfield’s  students and staff . Each year more than 200  community members donate their time to enhance our students educational experience.VIPS staff is here to help you make your volunteer experience as rewarding as possible for both you the volunteer and the student or staff member you are working with. Please do not hesitate to call on us for any support you may need in your assignment.
