High School

Summer reading has been proven to help maintain reading skills and to improve literacy and vocabulary.   Students should read for pleasure, enrichment, and/or information during the summer months.  Students must read at least one book at an appropriate grade/reading level in order to fulfill the summer reading requirement. Contracts signed by parent/guardian and student will be accepted by homeroom teachers between Aug. 29th and September 11th.  Participation in the Summer Reading Program will be recorded on student report cards.
